Glamping in itself is an activity! "a form of camping involving accommodation and facilities more luxurious than those associated with traditional camping."
Picnics, stargazing, campfires, strolls, swimming, skimming stones, listening to nature, reading books, card games, and many more….
There are activities local to Baleshare, North Uist and Benbecula, and slightly further on the islands of South Uist, Eriskay, Harris and Lewis too.
There are fantastic beaches, awesome walks, and amazing views.
There is bike hire, horse riding, boat trips, surfing, golfing, fishing, and Hercules the Bear.
There is food, there is art.
There are great spaces for those who adore nature and wildlife, especially birds, seals, otters and sheep!
Our only ask is that you please be sensitive to crofters’ crops and livestock, please follow the crofting country code when walking over the land.
Below is a non-exhaustive list of activities and places. Please be aware that some may be seasonal, and it's advised to book ahead.
